The executive branch organizes a community service opportunity each trimester, which the students at JMPS are encouraged to participate. 

With the help of the PPO, community service opportunities are available more than just once a trimester.  They have organized Food Drives for the United Food Bank and volunteer opportunities at Paz de Cristo.

Community service is important for several reasons.  It is a way that JMPS can give back and reach out to the local community.  The students will have this experience that they may put it on their college applications.  Lastly, there is not a better feeling than helping out others.
