There are many ways to find what interests you. From art, to music, chess, or pickleball there is something for everyone. Clubs are offered by student led interest. If there is a club you want to see, get a teacher to sponsor your club, and start a bill in the House of Representatives.
Week of 2/22-2/27 the following clubs will not meet: Media, RC Car, Art Club
The Radio Club at JMPS is an exciting opportunity for students to be introduced to the world of Amateur Radio and electronics! Our first activities are distinctly radio-themed and involve teaching the students how to build basic antennas, track down hidden transmitters, and how to interpret Morse code. Where we go from there depends largely on what kinds of projects the students wish to attempt. There are plenty of Amateur Radio related projects, and if students are interested in obtaining an Amateur Radio license, there are plenty of study guides and practice questions that will be provided to them. We may also branch out into other electronics projects, basic python coding, RC vehicles, and anything else that we can reasonably attempt! Additional optional meetings may occur during study hall in the future. There is not fee to join, but monetary donations (including tax-credit) or equipment and component donations would be greatly appreciated if members wish to take on a particularly complex or specialized project.
